How We Help
The Initiative for Inclusive Dialogue in Nigeria (IIDN) is here to enable more Nigerians to take part in promoting mutual respect, equity and sustainable development, regardless of their social class, age and gender. Nigeria for everyone (#NigeriaforEveryone) has been our unique official motto and hashtag since our establishment in July 2017. We make our mission possible through inclusive educational, capacity-building and awareness-raising programs. IIDN is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization. We especially, aim to work with underrepresented groups in Nigeria.
To fulfil the organization’s mandates of fostering social cohesion and sustainable development in Nigeria, we engage in the following:
Planning and conducting seminars - This aligns with IIDN's mission of inclusive education, capacity-building and awareness-raising. The organization plans and manages seminars in collaboration with fellow NGOs, grassroots community movements, youths, women, university students, public governance organizations in Nigeria and the like. Through such engagements , we aim to enable collaborative learning and build momentum for positive change in different aspects of society.
Research papers, interviews and policy briefs: Knowledge development is at the heart of this organization. IIDN has developed a wide range of resources that are linked to social cohesion, mutual respect and sustainable development. We conduct interviews with key stakeholders, as well as, develop and publish policy briefs and research papers on social issues.
